My Promise to You

You are my dream come true, you are my world, you are the joy in my heart, the laughter in my voice, and the smile on my face. We complement each other so beautifully and together we can face anything, we can be comforted in knowing that we will never have to face it alone.

The first time you kissed me, I know that we shared something special, and it wasn’t long after that I fell in love with you and realized that you are the one that I was meant to spend my life with. 

I could see it in your eyes. I could feel it in my heart. You are the most incredible man I have ever known, and you make me feel amazing every single day. I am so excited, and completely elated to be standing here with you today. You are the love of my life, my best friend, my soulmate, my everything, and I promise to you.

I promise that I will always be there for you, in good times and bad, may we always laugh together like we do now, and may the stormy days we encounter and the trials we face only ever make us stronger. When I found you, I found an all new universe in your arms. I found my perfect partner in you. 

I found love, affection, and protection in you. I found possessiveness, madness, passion and insanity in your love. I found recognition respect and forgiveness. I found life, reason, and depth. I found my reason behind my existence. I found my reason to wake up every morning. I found new dimensions about my life. I found a treasure of love buried under my own bones. Finally, as if that wasn’t enough. I found myself in you, too.

I promise that I will love you for who you are. I will look past your flaws, imperfections, and insecurities and will accept you for who you are. I will love you for them because they make you, for you. I promise you that 1 will always make time for you, regardless if I am busy or not. I will set aside everything, just to hang out or talk to you because you mean that much to me. I will also do it because you’re my first priority and you mean everything to me.

I promise you that I will always be here for you, whenever you need someone the most. I promise you that I will never criticize or judge you. I will accept your past faults and mistakes. I promise you that I will never ask you to change because you are perfect just the way you are. Not only do I want to be your wife, but I want to be your best friend. I want you to come and trust me with everything. I want you tell me your problems and I want you to vent to me because I’m here to listen to every word you have.

Every day, I will prove and show to you how much you mean to me and how much I love you because actions speak louder than words. I want to be the one who can make genuinely and truly happy. I want to be the one who can make you laugh and smile every day. I can’t promise you a perfect relationship because there will be arguments, fights, misunderstanding, obstacles, and problems we’ll go through. But I can promise you, that despite what happens now or on the future, I will be by your side every step of the way and I will.

What can I say to you that I haven’t already said? What can I give you that I haven’t already given? How can I look at you look at me like I’m the only one here? Why can I tell you everything that I can’t tell anyone else? Why do you make me feel the way that I do?

There comes a time in everyone’s life that all you can see are the years passing by and I’ve made up my mind that I want to spend those years with you. You walked into my life when I needed you the most. You stayed with me throughout all these years. No matter what I do I will always carry you in my heart, our memories will always make us smile, and out laughs will never stop. I’ll stay with you until the daylight dims and you ‘ll hold me until the sun rises. I want to spend every moment I have with you. Through the ups and downs my decision is final you’ve helped me out of the dark and broke down to the door to my heart. I love you

I love you with all that I am and promise to be your woman, always. You are my best friend, my confident and my soulmate. No-one has touched my life like you. With you I have the courage to be myself, and I promise to always be honest and faithful, and to give you the same trust and respect you give me.

I offer you my strength and support, my love and my loyalty. I offer you everything I am and everything I will be, for the rest of our lives together.

Before I meet you I was lost.my life had no meaning or direction. But then I walked into that room that day and noticed you. As much as you were trying to hide and deny the fact who really you are. I could see through your façade. See the hurt and betrayal that had led you to this moment. You would do anything to lessen the pain even if it meant denying who really were.

A part of me resonated with you that day. A part that said this man can be so much more I knew at that moment that we were identical souls. We had both received betrayal and hurt form the one who should have loves and protected us.

From that day forward it become my mission to show you that you can love without fear, be loved without betrayal, and have someone with whom you can share your innermost thoughts and feelings without fear of reprisals of judgement of any kind.

And before I meet you, I thank god every day that you were brought into my life. For blessing me with not only my perfect match but my one true love. Once again I want to make a promise to you. I promise to provide for you, protect you, cherish our friendship and to always be worthy of your trust and love. You renewed my life that I proudly join that life with yours. I thank you for loving me and commit myself to today, tomorrow, and forever.

We enter life as a single entity, growing and learning as we pass along the years making us who we are as individual. Each step we take and every bump in the road molds us to where we are today. Every mountain climbed and every hole we’ve fallen unto has shaped us until now.

From this day forward, every mountain, every bump in the road, every stepping stone, every hole,will be climbed, jumped, fallen, and walked together as one. Side by side, hand by hand, being shelter for one another, and home in each other’s arms. The dreams and goals we each ave shall now be our dreams and goals. We have life together as one.

I never thought it possible, that I would be standing here with you. It was something I thought was a fairytale a happy ending to the children book. I never thought it possible, for it to be so true and so real we were merely friends or so we thought we were. I never thought it could change so fast, it was chance I met you when you were in town.

It was fate that brought us together. Like magnetic pull, I was stuck quite happily and you were as well. I love you then and I still I do, but now I know I’m in love with you. I promise not to leave you. I promise to stand by you and love you, I never thought it possible. That I’d be here with you, but I’m glad I am and I will always love you.
